On the banks of the Gelise river the magnificent Barbaste watermill stands with it's four XIII century towers. The property of Jeanne d'Albret and then her son King Henri IV of France and Navarre, from a fortress, it later became a factory and even an electricity generating station.

From the mill take the beautiful XIIth century romanesque footbridge over the Gelise.

Visit the Comblat, Martinet and Cauderoue châteaux, the XVth century Lausseignan church and the XVIIIth century Beas church.

There is an annual baroque music festival and golf lovers can enjoy an 18 hole golf course.
