   Arriving from the west you have to moor in the port of the round lock. If mooring is not available you will find other moorings east of the lock.

Upstream, navigation is allowed up to Besson but there is no possibility for moorage

    Even if Agde surroundings are not that attractive, the city is worth a visit. One of the oldest city of France, Agde was originally a Greek commercial harbour.
Thus take time to stroll in the old districts and admire the black volcanic stone houses

   he museum of Agde offers several exhibitions: traditional clothe, models of boats and other vestiges of the city.
