Notice of navigation for the year 2008

The chief Engineer in charge of the Navigation Department informs the waterways users that the navigation opening times for 2006 are set as follows.

SCHEDULE OF NAVIGATION

From the 23^rd of March to the 3^rd of November 2008 :

Open to navigation :

Every day of the week except for the 1^st of May, the 14^th of July and the 1^st of November

Opening hours : 9.00 A.M

Closing hours

• From the 23 rd of March to the 30^th of April and 1^st of October au 4^th of November : 6.P.M
• From the 1^st to the 31^st of May and the 1 to the 30^th of September : 6.30P.M
• From the 1 of June to the 31 of August : 7.00 P.M
• Between 12.30P.M and 13.30P.M daily

NAVIGATION SEASONS

Navigation at request

From the 1^st of January to the 22nd of march 2006 and from the 4^th November to the 31^st of December 2002, navigation will be at request. Boats may pass through the locks from:

NAVIGATION RULES

Boats dimensions: boats should be under 3.40 meters high in the axis of navigation and 2,38 to 2,50 metres from the axis of navigation.

They should be less than 1,50 metre under the water.

For boats with other dimensions please ask for information to any navigation offices.

Speed limit: speed is strictly limited to 8 km/hour.

TOLL FOR THE 2006 SEASON

Any journey on the Canal du Midi or Canal Lateral à la Garonne is liable to toll payment. This toll allows French Waterways to mend the waterways and to develop the quality of service. This toll depends on the boat surface and period of navigation.

You may choose between the 4 options bellow

The" yearly "rate
For who is found of the waterway!

The "holiday" rate
Valid for 16 consecutive days of sailing (delivered with days of validity)

The "leisure" rate
Good for 30 days (not necessarily consecutives)

The daily rate
Valid for one day

A 10% discount will be offered to a "yearly" rate subscriber before the 20^th of March 2008.

A stamp proving payment will be delivered. It has to be displayed at a visible place on the boat.

You can get this toll card by mail or directly at any Voies Navigables de France reception desk of your choice.

You will have to include the following information with your request :

• name and address of the owner


• name and registration member of the boat


• dimensions of the boat from the hull


• the formula you have chosen as well as the validity

The payment can be made by cash, postal order or euro cheque
